Envy the 1st Gen BMW S1000RR

Continuing from after the weekend, we have the 1st generation S1000RR. I had mixed feelings on the looks but after photographing a bunch, it’s asymmetrical design grew on me.

Here is a video explanation from the BMW Motorrad VP on Design, David Robb, on why it was designed the way it was. After watching this video, I had a new found respect on why it was designed asymmetrical.

TL;DW: It is asymmetrical look because “it makes sense”.
